Sometimes in the midst of a bad day, it makes me stop and smile to think of some of my favorite things about life.
Here are some of my favorite things:

--Coincidences that aren't coincidences
--The phrase "Twirly swirly gumdrops"
--Running through those little leaf tornados
--Throw your head back laughs
--The point you realize a friend has just become a best friend
--Worship
--When I go around a curve (not even a sharp one) and instinctively turn on my blinker
--Listening to the people I love share their heart or an exciting story
--Inside jokes with family
--Thoughtful notes
--Long emails
--Watching horses run
--When someone lets you go in front of them in heavy traffic
--The words "I love you" when you know the other person means it
--Poetry
--When my dog snuggles up next to me at night
--Music with deep lyrics
--A good movie
--When my sister describes a color by saying, "Ya know Sea Foam Green in the Crayola box? THAT'S the color I'm talkin about!"
--Big hugs
What are some of YOUR favorite things?

Kym & Brandon Burris, Logan Gaddis, Ashley Sheridan, and I kicked off the month of October with FRIGHTFEST at Six Flags this weekend!!! What was the best part? There were several bests (if that's possible), but one of them would have to be whenever Ashley sloshed tea all over the woman riding behind us on the Judge Roy Scream. During the "fearsome" (as Brandon would term it) ride, Ashley's tea started leaking out of the cup into her lap...naturally, she lifted the cup above her head so the wind would let it leak outside the roller coaster. Whenever we finished, Ashley exclaimed, "haha! My tea was leaking the WHOOLLLEE time!" Immediately we hear this woman's voice behind us say, "uhh, YA!" We turned around to look and she was covered in tea!! lol OOPS! We helplessly pulled one of those ::::laugh laugh laugh::::laughing while saying, "We're sorry!!!" :::LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH:::: Even though it was a sincere apology, there was no way of delivering it in a sincere manner after seeing her face and shirt covered in tea! Another best would have to be getting to spend so much time with my sister, Brandon, Logan, and Ashley. They're all so fun, but a special I love you goes out to KYM! There's not much that's thicker than blood right? Thanks for reading--Leave me some love...

Okay, here's the game.  I'll tell you three random things about me, and each of you MUST respond with three random things about yourself!!  Ready, set, GO!!!  Oh, it's me first.....  ummm.........  #1 I love reading famous quotes.  #2  I used to try to count imaginary sheep jumping over a fence to bore me into going to sleep (i heard it worked), but I'd always imagine up an unruly black sheep with a habit of detour who was spunky and fun.  Before I knew it, I would be sitting up in bed smiling and thinking up some storybook story!  Summary:  Counting sheep does not work for me.  #3  I hate cheesecake and my biggest pet peeves are knuckle popping and crunching ice.  Your turn!

I think I have a new favorite t.v. show!!  "Fire Me, Please!"  haha  it seriously cracks me up and is a MUST SEE!!  Dont you think it would be so fun to TRY to get fired!  On another note, I have been highly reprimanded about my lack of updating.  I'm apparently not doing the xanga company justice.  Let me quote one of my most recent lashing sessions, "Call me a genius, but I'm pretty sure it's June. That means... you missed your Xanga update for May!!!!!!!!!!!!  That means.... You gotta do 2 in June.  It's the American Way.  The Christian Way.  So..... get to posting.................NOW!"  I want to apologize publically for my lack of commitment to xanga...I will try to return to the once a month posting!  As for tonight, I'm goin to the RODEO!!!  YEEEHHHAAWWWW!!!!  Watch out boys!  This girl's a bull buckin', bronco ridin', barrell turnin' fool!!!!  ok ok... maybe I'm all talk, BUT I secretly hope i can muster up the courage to run out with all the kids for the calf tying contest!!!  HOW FUNN!!!  ::::bliss:::::
